Rebellious socks

Blogger wasn't working this morning when I put my socks on. As a result, I wasn't able to update the "Socks of the Day!" blurb. And it would be terrible for you to think that I'm wearing yesterday's socks! Anyway, I actually put a fair amount of thought into my socks today, so I don't mind devoting an actual post to them!

If I had been able to update the sock info, it would have said, "Lime green socks with black toes, heels, and cuffs. A black cat sits on each side of the ankle, with sequined eyes on one side."

I chose them because I really wanted to play hooky today. But the image data is finally ready so we can finally begin analysis (don't get me started), so I really had to go in to lab. Grumble grumble grumble. So it was really important for me to wear rebellious socks as an indication of my displeasure, of my desire to be anywhere else. Unfortunately, none of my socks are particularly rebellious. They tend to have things like cats, flowers, and penguins on them. All very happy cats, flowers, and penguins, of course. The best I could do was lime green. My statement was, "Ok fine, I'll go to lab. But I'm wearing neon green socks!" The horror.

Help me out. If you ever find any rebellious socks, you know where they'll be appreciated...
