Pay dirt!
Ooh, I just got my first check for my proofreading gig! Yeah baby! I can get groceries this week! Or I can take 3.75 ballet classes at the Woodland Opera House! Or buy a new pair of pointe shoes (almost)! Or maybe a new pair of jeans. Go to 4 movies. Buy 2-3 new books. Or lots of used books! 12 pairs of socks! A nice dinner for 2 (but who with?). The possibilities are endless. I should definitely blow it on something fun! (So no on the groceries or pointe shoes. =D)

How 'bout this... You come to NYC, we'll grab dinner...and then I can play my new piano song for you, from the notebook of Anna Magdalena Bach...or I have an arrangement for the ukulele from John King. (I hope you know who this is, because now there are two of us in NYC who play the ukulele and piano!!!) :-D

Only one of us can play ukulele from the John King book...
The other one can only have dinner with you if you have the entire Restatement of Contracts (2nd) tattooed in interesting places on your body.
