Card-carrying scientist!

The biggest lesson that I learned at the conference is that I need business cards. Quite a few people were interested enough in my poster to ask for one (ooh, go me!). Unfortunately, the only thing I could offer was to email them with my contact information if they gave me their business card, which I now have to do for several people.

So one of the first things I did upon returning to lab today was to order business cards for myself. Oh baby, I'm moving into the big time now! Unfortunately the smallest order you can make is for 500 cards. Yikes! I hope there isn't a policy that I can't graduate until I've distributed all of them =D. Of course all of my friends will be lucky recipients of them. Let me know if you want one (or twenty)!

  • I just got cards too! www.tradeoms.com (no, the website wasn't, uh, perfissonelly designed). Alexis Tygenhof's Steve Perella designed the cards. Let me know if you want 50 of them!
