Something must be wrong

This week's goal is to schedule my qualifying exams. So far it's been remarkably painless. Here it is only Tuesday and I've already gotten a date set!

This is supposed to be a notoriously difficult process. I challenge you to try coordinating between 4-5 busy professors, each with a variety of committments in and out of town. But I seem to only have one problem case on my committee. The other 3 have amazingly compliant scedules in the Spring. What's even more amazing is that all 4 of them have been extremely responsive to my emails. It seems to be almost par for the course to be completely ignored for the first several attempts... But this didn't happen to me! So I guess continuing with the par metaphor, I've got a super eagle! (sorry.) I'm sure they all just love me that much! =D

So as of right now, the momentous date is April 14. April 14 at 1 o'clock. Let's hope my orals turn out to be as much of a breeze as scheduling them has been thus far! But don't worry, I'll still study...
