Sock dream machine!
I had the wildest dream just before I woke up this morning! I have to tell you about it before it disapparates.
I was hanging out in Malaysia with a really cool, one-eyed Honda dealer (nominally to ask him some questions about Steggie). Wait... Now that I'm awake, I remember that Steggie is a Toyota... Ok, maybe he was a Toyota dealer. It's an inconsequential detail at any rate. All sorts of crazy things happened. Like Ben-Jed (the dream wasn't consistent as to which one of them) going rock climbing under water; me accidently climbing to the top of this super steep crag (the forest cover was so dense, I couldn't tell I was going too high), and then miraculously finding my way down; only to be caught in a sudden torrential thunderstorm and fleeing back to my Honda (Toyota?) dealer, who was attending a seminar, so that I could hopefully get a ride back home. Anyway, here comes the part I want to focus on:
When I finally found my Honda dealer, who now had both of his eyes, he decided that he wanted to use the bathroom before fleeing the storm. As I was waiting for him, I noticed a sock machine stall, so I decided to check it out. It was so cool! Apparently in dream-Malaysia, and maybe all of the rain forests, since it is so likely that you'll be rained on and get your feet wet, they have these machines to provide you with dry socks. It was so cool! So I decided to get a new pair of socks, since mine were kind of wet too (like I need an excuse). There were hundreds of patterns to choose from! Once you made your selection, you gave the machine the number for it, and it would super quickly draw that design onto a pair of socks, and then give them to you. And it was only $1 for all of this! I decided I wanted the "Pacho Wallaby" socks, but unfortunately, I couldn't find the number for them. So I asked the attendent where it was. She wasn't very helpful... Then I woke up.
Ok, I'm supposed to be leaving right now for Thanksgiving in Yosemite, but I haven't even started packing yet, and I still need to wash some dishes, so I'm not going to have to proofread this... You can fix my errors on your own =D.
Sock of the day!! I'm still wearing my sleep socks. I like to call them "Dr. Seuss socks" because they're very fuzzy, but not polartec, and have wide pastel stripes in pink, blue, & yellow. I'll probably end up wearing one of the pairs of blue knee socks today.
