A kitty-cat!

My roommate and I are cat-sitting for her dad until Thanksgiving. That means we get to have a kitty for the next month!!! Yay! His name is Logan. He's almost entirely black, with a little white patch on his chest.

He's a crazy. He spent most of yesterday either under my bed, in my closet, or in Cassie's closet. His favorite spot was behind my diploma frame. I bet that's a use Stanford never considered their degrees would be good for! Today he's becoming more brave and is venturing around the house. He "helped" me with my reading in true cat fashion. This involved sitting directly in front of my reader, so I couldn't see anything through his big, black self, and then trying to scratch his chin on my nose. Cute as this is, it always results in a lot of fur getting stuck on my nostrils and lips. Bleargh! He also whips his tail violently when he's being petted. It doesn't make sense. Cats aren't supposed to lash their tails when they're happy....

He's very demanding of attention, just like Chester the dog. I think my roommmate is very spoiling of her pets when they're little. But he's cute. And he's a cat. So I'm happy. Maybe I'll get a kitten of my own next quarter... I just hope Chester doesn't act too obnoxious to it...
