> belated monday post
I had to go back to Davis today =(. I made my best time ever! Got back in an hour and 45 minutes! Great! But I had also left Redwood City with sooo much time to spare. Someone said there would be traffic... that I should leave early... Of course, seeing as it was a federal holiday, there was no traffic... That's alright. Gave me extra time to do reading (which I have soooo much of).
Kind of annoying though. I mean, federal holiday... state university... It's all run by government. So why didn't I get the day off? Oh well....
But it was good. I got a free eraser! This is especially good since I lost my eraser a couple weeks ago =(. I was making my daily pilgrimage to the Bookstore (not so happy about that), when some lady asked me if I'd like to enter. Of course, I had no idea what she was talking about. So she explained the rules of the contest. I just had to reach into a bucket of erasers, choose one at random, and the shape of that eraser would determine my prize. Everyone's a winner. I got an icecream-cone-shaped eraser! But the associated prize sucked. Just a coupon for clothes items at the bookstore. whoo-hoo. And I wasn't even allowed to keep the eraser. Luckily, the woman was very kind hearted, and when I explained to her that I had only done the contest under the impression that I would get a new eraser since I was currently very sad about the loss of my own, she let me have it. Yay!
I scream, you scream
